OMNI-PRECISE plays a pivotal role in this offering through a wide range of customised solutions and precision farming technologies.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a M.Sc. Agriculture degree in Soil Science
• A tertiary qualification in Geographical Information Systems (GIS) will be an added advantage

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years working experience in a relevant field
• High level of GIS knowledge, including the use of ESRI suite (ArcGIS), QGIS and Google Earth applications
• Knowledge in Ag Leader SMS software will be an added advantage
• Track record of managing projects and achieving goals

Duties

• Soil classification maps and reports
• Working with the agronomic field team
• Translating raw data into agricultural solutions

• Strong ability to work independently.
• Strong understanding of fertilizer crop requirements.
• Strong understanding of agronomic principles including soil chemistry, soil physics, agronomy, plant physiology and crop nutrient management.
