Jordan Human Resources in South Africa is seeking an experienced recruitment professional to proactively identify and secure new healthcare clients while delivering high-touch service to candidates and clients. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for temporary, locum and permanent healthcare roles, own your desk, and drive revenue through commissions and strong relationships.

• Proven experience in agency recruitment within healthcare.
• Experience in nursing, pharmaceutical, occupational health or other healthcare recruitment.
• Strong cold calling, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• Matric certificate essential.

THE ROLE

• Proactively identify, cold call and secure new clients through business development.
• Conduct regular client visits and build strong, lasting business relationships.
• Recruit and place temporary, locum and permanent healthcare professionals.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing to negotiating and closing placements and contracts.
• Take full ownership of your desk, clients, candidates and revenue targets.
• Develop new business opportunities and grow a profitable client portfolio.
• Manage the demands of a fast-paced, 24/7 locum environment.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Proven experience in agency recruitment, preferably within the medical or healthcare sector.
• Experience in nursing, pharmaceutical, occupational health or other healthcare professional recruitment.
• Strong cold calling, negotiation and client relationship skills.
• A natural business developer who is confident engaging with clients and conducting face-to-face visits.
• A self-starter who is resilient, energetic, commercially minded and able to think on their feet.
• Someone who thrives under pressure and is motivated by targets and commission.
• The ability to work independently, take accountability and run their desk with minimal supervision.
• Matric certificate essential.
