About the Role

Our client, a leading aesthetic medical practice located in the scenic coastal city of George, Western Cape , is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Senior Medical Aesthetician & Laser Technician. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of treatments, including laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, and body contouring, alongside advanced skincare consultations and treatments. Key Responsibilities

Perform a comprehensive array of laser and light-based treatments, including hair removal, photorejuvenation, fractional laser, and vascular lesion treatments. Conduct thorough skin assessments and consultations to determine appropriate treatment plans and device settings. Administer advanced medical aesthetic treatments such as chemical peels, microneedling, and medical-grade facials. Operate and maintain various aesthetic devices and lasers, ensuring safety and efficacy according to manufacturer guidelines and clinic protocols. Educate clients on treatment procedures, expected outcomes, potential side effects, and post-treatment care. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting treatments and progress meticulously. Stay current with the latest advancements, research, and techniques in medical aesthetics and laser technology. Assist physicians with minor procedures as needed and collaborate with the medical team. Promote clinic services and products, contributing to business growth and client retention. Ensure the treatment environment is meticulously clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.

Requirements

A minimum of 6 years of experience as a certified Aesthetician or Laser Technician, with at least 3 years in a medical aesthetic setting. Relevant certifications in laser operation, cosmetic chemistry, or advanced aesthetic treatments. Proven expertise in operating a variety of laser and energy-based devices. Deep understanding of skin anatomy, physiology, and common dermatological conditions. Exceptional client consultation and communication skills, with a compassionate and professional demeanor. A strong commitment to patient safety, ethical practice, and achieving outstanding results. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative medical team.
