Ideal candidates have 7+ years in robotics/mechatronics, strong CAD/FEA skills, and a proven ability to mentor junior engineers in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required; PhD is a plus.
• 7+ years in mechanical design with robotics/automation/mechatronics.
• Experience with multi-axis robotics and end-of-arm tooling design.
• Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks/Inventor) and simulation tools (FEA).
• Strong understanding of control systems, sensors, and actuators.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design of robotic systems, end-effectors, and automation equipment.
• Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and BOMs for complex assemblies.
• Perform stress, vibration, and kinematics analysis for performance and safety.
• Collaborate with electrical/software engineers for system integration.
• Oversee fabrication, assembly, and testing of prototypes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues during development and production.
• Research and implement new mechanical technologies and design methods.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
