Oxyon People Solutions is seeking a seasoned professional to manage mechanical piping designs and installations for complex Oil & Gas projects in Johannesburg, South Africa. The role requires overseeing engineering deliverables and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and over 12 years of experience in piping systems, ideally within the Oil & Gas industry, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of relevant experience in piping systems, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Proven track record in large-scale EPC projects.

Responsabilités

• Lead and manage mechanical piping designs and installations for complex Oil & Gas projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables (P&IDs, layouts, specs).
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams on construction, QA/QC, and commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and project standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence on-site.

Requirements

• Strong working knowledge of piping materials, stress analysis, and isometric drawings.

• Familiar with industry software (Auto PIPE, Caesar II, etc.).

• Proven track record in large-scale EPC projects.
