Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive mechanical design and manufacturing experience.
• Proficiency in CAD and FEA tools required.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or eligible is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and materials.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of new mechanical equipment and systems.
• Perform stress, thermal, and vibration analyses.
• Oversee fabrication, installation, and commissioning of machinery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with production, quality control, and R&D for CI.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of new mechanical equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Conduct thorough stress analysis , thermal analysis, and vibration analysis on mechanical components and assemblies.
• Oversee the fabrication, installation, and commissioning of machinery, providing technical guidance to production teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex mechanical issues in manufacturing equipment, minimizing downtime and improving performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, and R&D, to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, manuals, and reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in mechanical design and manufacturing environments.
• Proven expertise in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and FEA tools.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials science, and thermodynamics.
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or eligible for registration is highly advantageous.
