Responsibilities include managing maintenance, overseeing mechanical design, drawing production for manufacturing, BOM generation, and coordinating with service providers.

The role requires hands-on operation, project management experience, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng/BTech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years' experience in maintenance or production environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Competency in computer-aided engineering design and drawing.
• Hands-on experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment.
• Proven project management experience.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience in hydraulic system design and maintenance advantageous.
• Experience in electrical control systems advantageous.
• Must be fully computer literate (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook).
• Experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Knowledgeable on the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine maintenance and repair services across all departments.
• Lead the Engineering Team and manage engineers.
• Oversee mechanical design and layout work.
• Oversee production of drawings for manufacturing.
• Generate detailed drawings and BOMs.
• Prepare manufacturing and assembly instructions.
• Drive preventive and predictive maintenance.
• Drive continuous improvement.
• Compile reports on failures and tasks.
• Liaise with other departments about failures and potential solutions.
