The ideal candidate will have a BEng/BTech degree and at least 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with proficiency in SolidWorks and project administration skills. Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer : Product Industrialisation — Centurion

The successful incumbent will be in charge of the design, development, integration and qualification of products and systems from the concept stage to specification, qualification, integration, product support and industrialising old products to improve costs.

Requirements

• Education

• BEng / BTech Mechanical Engineering

• Experience

• 5+ years of working experience in the following criteria :
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, Full Adobe Creative Cloud (Advantageous), and Microsoft Office (Compulsory).
• Proficiency with simulation software mechanical and thermal.
• Design experience in plastic fabrication, and other manufacturing processes such as sheet-metal, injection moulding, extrusion, vacuum forming and printing.
• The following additional experience will be highly advantageous : Basic Electrical / Electronic knowledge and experience, IT Networks and Systems, installing electronic / IT / M2M / IoT systems.
