Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 9 years of experience in mechanical engineering, focused on power generation or industrial processing.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) registration with ECSA.
• Experience with design software and simulation tools.
• Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer and materials science.

Responsibilities

• Design and specify mechanical equipment such as turbines, pumps, heat exchangers, and piping systems.
• Perform detailed engineering calculations including stress, thermal, and fluid dynamics analyses.
• Develop technical specifications, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets.
• Oversee installation, testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis for mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure designs comply with industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.

You will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of mechanical equipment and processes. Key Responsibilities
