Job summary

People Dimension seeks an experienced mechanical engineer to move beyond routine design, offering consulting on how to improve product design, data management, validation, and adoption of modern engineering technologies across industries.

You will work with teams on SOLIDWORKS, PDM, 3DEXPERIENCE, and SIMULIA, delivering engineering services to local and international clients, and advancing CAD standards, workflows, and digital engineering initiatives.

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in mechanical or mechatronic engineering.
Experience in mechanical design, product development, or manufacturing.
Strong CAD skills with SOLIDWORKS highly preferred.
Good understanding of drawings, BOMs and revision control.
Ability to liaise with customers and technical teams.

Responsibilities

Deliver engineering consulting services to customers.
Conduct drawing office, CAD, and engineering process assessments.
Help customers improve design workflows, CAD standards, revision control, and engineering documentation.
Support engineering data management, PDM, and digital transformation projects.
Assist with SOLIDWORKS, PDM, 3DEXPERIENCE, and related engineering technology implementations.
Develop and review CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
Apply practical Design for Manufacturing principles.
Present recommendations, technical demonstrations, workshops, and training.
