Job summary

Recruitpro Solutions in South Africa is looking for a seniorMechanical design engineer to own end-to-end product development from concept through release. You will lead design projects, mentor engineers and engage with international clients to drive value.

The role requires a BEng in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering, proven experience in design, development and consulting, and strong CAD skills. You will work with cross-functional teams, manage drawings, BOMs and revision control to ensure

Qualifications

• BEng in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering (Master’s degree is a strong advantage)
• Proven experience in mechanical design, product development and engineering consulting (all three essential)
• A track record of leading and owning design projects from concept to release
• Strong CAD and design software experience
• In-depth understanding of drawings, BOMs, revision control, manufacturing and design release processes
• Proven client consulting experience, with the confidence to engage engineering managers, technical teams and international stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving, communication and project delivery skills

Responsibilities
