Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will lead complex mechanical design projects, applying CAD and FEA to deliver high-performance components and systems.

With 8+ years of hands-on experience and a deep understanding of materials, manufacturing, and design for manufacturability, you will mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional remote teams to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in mechanical design, with a strong portfolio of complex projects.
• Expert proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA) and FEA simulation tools (e.g., ANSYS, COMSOL).
• Deep understanding of materials science, manufacturing processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote work setting.

Responsibilities
