Placements24 is seeking a highly qualified Senior Mathematics Educator to teach Grades 8-12 in Randburg, Gauteng. You will deliver an advanced curriculum, motivate learners, and prepare them for internal assessments and the National Senior Certificate.

The ideal candidate has a PGCE or equivalent, a Bachelor’s in Mathematics, 7+ years of senior secondary teaching, and a deep understanding of SA curriculum. Strong classroom management and technology-enabled teaching are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics and PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 7 years of Mathematics teaching at senior secondary level (Grades 8-12).
• Strong knowledge of the South African mathematics curriculum and examination requirements.

Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities or academic support programs.

Requirements

A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Applied Mathematics, along with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent teaching qualification. A minimum of 7 years of teaching experience in Mathematics at the senior secondary level (Grades 8-12). In-depth knowledge of the South African mathematics curriculum and examination requirements. Exceptional ability to teach abstract concepts and complex problem-solving strategies. Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to student success. Proficiency in utilizing educational technology to enhance teaching and learning. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
