Job description

1. Market Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns (digital, trade shows, roadshows) to boost LONGi’s brand awareness and lead generation in Africa.
  • Plan and execute localized promotional activities (e.g., product launches, seminars, partner trainings) aligned with regional sales goals.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and ROI analysis for marketing initiatives.

2. Marketing Communication & Branding

  • Create compelling marketing collaterals (brochures, case studies, presentations) tailored to the South African market.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to adapt international campaigns for local relevance.
  • Oversee LONGi’s social media (LinkedIn, local platforms) and PR efforts in Africa.

3. Competitive & Market Intelligence

  • Conduct competitor analysis (pricing, products, strategies) and provide actionable insights to the sales and leadership teams.
  • Monitor industry trends, policy changes, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
  • Regularly report on market dynamics with data-driven recommendations.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build relationships with distributors, EPCs and government bodies to support LONGi’s market penetration.
  • Represent LONGi at industry forums and media engagements.

Requirements

  1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Renewable Energy. MBA preferred.
  2. Experience: 5+ years in marketing/business development within solar/renewable energy, with Africa market expertise.
  3. Proven success in campaign management, market analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
  4. Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, global marketing).

Skills:

  • Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent communication (English + local language advantage).
  • Proficiency in data tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and digital marketing.
