Job summary

Discovery Limited is seeking a Senior Procurement Manager (Marketing) to lead strategy and execution for marketing supplier engagements in the South Africa market. You will drive sourcing, negotiations, and supplier performance while partnering with marketing, legal, and finance.

Based in Sandton, the role reports to the Group Chief Procurement Officer and requires strong stakeholder management, contract negotiation, and a track record of delivering cost savings in marketing spend.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or supply chain is required.
• Experience in procurement with a focus on marketing categories.
• Knowledge of RFx/tender processes and supplier governance.
• CIPS MCIPS qualification or progression toward MCIPS is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead vendor selection and stakeholder management with marketing teams.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and SLAs with marketing suppliers.
• Drive cost optimisation and savings across the marketing category.
• Develop category strategies and manage supplier performance.
• Collaborate with legal and finance on governance and compliance.
• Report procurement performance and savings to leadership.
