takealot.com, South Africa's leading online retailer, is looking for a highly talented Senior Marketing Manager (TakealotMORE) to join our Customer Insights team.
This position is responsible for conceptualising, implementing, and managing ongoing marketing campaigns to drive growth for TakealotMORE.

This position reports to the Group Head of TakealotMORE.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with the Product team to develop and implement promotional marketing campaigns to increase adoption and retention for TakealotMORE.
- Managing and maintaining the promotional calendar for TakealotMORE.
- Planning initiatives aligned with Takealot and MrD strategies.
- Developing in-depth knowledge of target consumer markets to craft effective promotional strategies.
- Working closely with merchandising and partner brands to improve customer conversion and ensure campaign objectives are met.
- Aligning campaigns with the overall promotional calendar and business goals.
- Driving new feature launches and creating educational content on product features.
- Briefing and coordinating various campaigns and promotions.
- Sourcing and managing partnerships with major brands to unlock new opportunities.
- Engaging with the brand team for through-the-line campaigns.
- Collaborating with social media teams for content planning and influencer partnerships.
- Liaising with partner marketing teams for joint campaigns.
- Working with internal teams on performance media and CRM strategies to grow TakealotMORE.
- Collaborating with MrD marketing to cross-sell and access new customer bases.
- Reporting on campaign performance regularly.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
- At least 5 years of retail and marketing experience.
- Experience across digital, ATL, and partnership marketing channels with proven results.
- Regular interaction with executive leadership.
- Knowledge of loyalty programs or subscriptions is advantageous.
- Proven ability to deliver projects successfully.
