Technical management
- Manage critical integration points in the supply chain, including P&O, inbound, and outbound logistics, by conducting audits, assessing risks, defining mitigation strategies, and overseeing implementation to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure long-term mass balance through monthly and annual inventory management, setting standards and targets, ensuring timely supplies, monitoring equipment, and deploying resources efficiently.
- Provide supply chain expertise and strategic guidance by staying updated on industry best practices, identifying risks and opportunities, engaging stakeholders, and presenting recommendations.
- Maintain ISO certifications within the supply chain by conducting audits, reviewing compliance, addressing non-conformities, and ensuring adherence to standards.
- Lead Enaex Africa’s BBBEE agenda by setting targets, implementing initiatives, developing ESD programs, and managing change processes.
- Ensure compliant sourcing by conducting supplier audits, reviewing performance, addressing issues, and maintaining transparency and integrity.

- Contribute to organizational strategy by understanding key drivers and providing annual input.
Operational planning and management
- Develop departmental operations plans aligned with strategy, including projects and KPIs, and submit for approval.
- Manage policy and procedure development.
- Oversee process mapping, assess efficiencies, monitor compliance, identify anomalies, and implement corrective actions.
Budget and financial management
- Develop budgets based on operational needs and seek approval.
- Track expenditures, review costs, identify variances, and take corrective actions.
Risk management
- Manage security and disaster recovery measures, review risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Develop and maintain departmental risk management frameworks, review strategies, and oversee improvements quarterly.
SHE Management
- Manage SHE by providing training, ensuring completion, and addressing gaps or non-compliance.
Stakeholder management
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing feedback and collaborating as needed.
- Engage with industry stakeholders, represent the organization, and support industry initiatives and address challenges.
People management
- Support staff development through mentoring, skills improvement monitoring, and understanding development needs.
- Oversee HR policy compliance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
