Job Description: Leadership Development Manager

The role involves designing and implementing programs to cultivate and enhance leadership skills across various levels within the bank.

Responsibilities include overseeing mentorship initiatives, strategic partnerships with internal and external experts, and creating innovative content, tools, and learning solutions aligned with the bank's objectives.

Key Performance Inputs

  1. Management of Resources: Manage and develop staff through performance management, training, and employee relations. Handle leave management, staffing, and disciplinary measures. Facilitate onboarding for new staff.
  2. Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a strategic vision for leadership development, conduct needs assessments, benchmark practices, and ensure alignment with organizational culture and future needs.
  3. Program Design and Implementation: Design and oversee leadership programs using diverse methodologies, develop KPIs, collaborate with executives, and leverage technology. Incorporate assessment tools and align with succession planning and the Leadership Compact.
  4. Strategic Business Partnering: Work with senior leaders to understand priorities, establish partnerships, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Integrate leadership strategies into organizational change initiatives and manage external vendors.
  5. Reporting: Regularly report on program impact, budget utilization, participation, and leadership pipeline status to senior management.
  6. Customer and Compliance: Maintain relationships with clients, ensure fair treatment, and comply with policies and regulations. Exceed client expectations and foster a positive image.

Minimum Requirements

  • Master's degree in HR, psychology, leadership development, or related fields.
  • At least 8+ years in human resources, with exposure to talent management and leadership development in banking or similar industries.
  • Minimum 5+ years of management experience.

This position is a mid-senior level, full-time role within the Human Resources function of the bank.
