Job summary

Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd in South Africa seeks a Senior Manager Funding Execution to lead the development of Eskom's medium- to long-term funding strategy and to compile the annual borrowing plan ensuring liquidity.

Reporting to the General Manager Treasury, you will arrange non-listed debt from banks and DFIs, provide strategic leadership for the Funding Execution section, and manage stakeholder relations with lenders and regulators.

Qualifications

• Highest level of personal and professional integrity.
• 10 Years’ experience originating Bank Debt and/or DFI debt.
• Knowledge of Treasury related functions, policies and internal controls.

Introduction

Position/Task Grade: E-band. Reporting to the General Manager Treasury, the Senior Manager Funding Execution will be responsible for leading the development and compilation of the Board approved borrowing plan, taking direct responsibility for arranging of non-listed debt facilities from Commercial Banks, development Finance Institutions and other lenders. · Develop and continuously enhance Eskom’s medium to long-term funding strategy, taking into consideration Eskom’s sources of funding, access to credit enhancement products, upcoming maturities, lender requirements and overall cost of funding.

· Develop and compile the annual borrowing plan, which forms part of the corporate plan, to ensure adequacy of funds to meet Eskom's short-term funding and liquidity requirements.

· Lead the arrangement of non-listed debt facilities from Commercial Banks, Development Financing Institutions and other Lenders.

· Provide Strategic leadership and optimise performance of the overall activities of the Funding Execution Section.

Qualification(s):

o B Degree in Finance with post graduate qualification/ Legal Degree at an NQF8 with 480 credits.

Related Minimum Experience:

o 10 Years’ experience originating Bank Debt and/or(DFI) debt
