Role Overview:
As the Senior Manager: Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for driving the digital marketing strategy for SanlamAllianz while accelerating SanlamAllianz Digital Marketing Transformation efforts.

You will support the Digital in-country and Marketing team while helping upskill digital marketers and other marketing professionals across the SanlamAllianz Group. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in digital marketing strategies and think strategically about both business and consumer targeting, acquisition, retention, and brand across the customer journey.

You are an innovative thinker who is strategic, process-oriented, and focused on results. You love technology and use data to guide you with your ability to easily draw insights to inform decision making to drive short-term results and long-term customer loyalty.

Responsibilities:
Your ability to:

  1. Develop and implement the SanlamAllianz digital strategy, influencer strategy, and group social media strategy.
  2. Manage the execution of group digital marketing and social campaigns.
  3. Drive digital marketing strategies that are relevant to all the markets where we operate.
  4. Manage external social media and digital marketing suppliers.
  5. Drive digital transformation and advance the maturity of digital marketing across the group.
  6. Collaborate with Content, Creative, and Brand teams to deliver an overall brand experience along the customer digital journey consistent with best-in-class digital practices and experiences.
  7. Manage the Group Digital Marketing team.
  8. Use analytics to recommend updates/changes to improve performance and user experience.
  9. Oversee the digital marketing budget.
  10. Work collaboratively across marketing teams to ensure a seamless and consistent digital experience across the Group.
  11. Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices.

Qualifications and Experience:
Degree in IT or digital marketing is essential.
10+ years' experience in digital marketing.
Proven experience in a large corporate and/or financial institution will be to your advantage.
Experience in developing and implementing successful digital marketing and social media strategies and campaigns.
Experience driving digital marketing transformation initiatives.
Proven experience with and a thorough understanding of SEO/SEM, Google analytics, the full range of Google advertising platforms, social media platforms or similar.

Knowledge and Skills:
In-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing, particularly digital marketing.
In-depth knowledge of social media marketing & management.
In-depth knowledge of online monitoring and measurement platforms.
Understanding of the continuously changing Martech landscape and implications for SanlamAllianz.
A good grasp of digital data analytics and reporting.
Basic knowledge of website development and management.
