Collaborate with the Chief Marketing Officer to design and implement business development strategies and plans to drive the company's growth objectives;
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities including market trends, competitive analysis and potential partnerships;
Lead the negotiation and execution of strategic partnerships, joint ventures and other business agreements to expand the company’s market presence and revenue streams;
Oversee the sales gained via various channels including TPAPI partners, OTAs and GDS’s;
Develop and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients and partners;
Analyse market data, customer insights and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities to support decision-making;
Stay up to date on industry developments, competitor activities and market changes that might impact business opportunities;
Identify and implement continuous improvement projects;
Monitor and evaluate the performance of business development initiatives, using data-driven insights to optimise strategies and tactics;
Monitor sales targets, revenue generation, and profitability metrics;
Provide financial planning and resource allocation insights;
Assess the effectiveness of business initiatives, marketing campaigns, or partnerships;
Report on key achievements, challenges, and make strategic recommendations;
Analyse client feedback to drive service improvements and customer retention;
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, product development, marketing and finance to drive business development initiatives and ensure overall alignment;
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, industry experts and clients;
Provide strong leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement;
Oversee the performance and deliverables of direct reports, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives while providing clear direction and expectations;
Monitor, evaluate, and optimise team performance through regular feedback and coaching to drive efficiency and effectiveness;
Offer ongoing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities, ensuring members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles;

Minimum Requirements
Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
Bachelor's Degree in business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or IT (Essential);
MBA or business improvement qualification (Advantageous);
8-10 years in a Commercial/Sales/Project Management related role of which at least 5 years is in a Senior Manager role in a mid-size organisation (Essential);
Willing to travel;
Available after hours;
Sound knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook (Essential);
Knowledge of industry and market dynamics;

Knowledge of financial principles (profitability metrics etc.);
