Finance Business Partner – Mining & Metals

McCann & Braham is conducting a search on behalf of a leading organisation in the Mining and Metals sector for a commercially driven Finance Business Partner (FBP). This high-impact role supports strategic decision-making at a senior level, combining financial acumen with hands-on business engagement.

This role operates on a Fly-In Fly-Out (FIFO) basis from Johannesburg, offering the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic mining operation while maintaining a structured travel rotation.

️ Key Responsibilities

• Provide detailed financial analysis and clear, actionable reporting
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Partner with leadership on strategic initiatives, investment cases, and performance improvement
• Work closely with operational teams to translate financial insights into business outcomes
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes and tools

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management Accounting, or similar
• ACMA (CGMA) qualification or currently studying toward it preferred
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in the Mining & Metals industry
• Strong background in business partnering and financial planning
