Job description

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking South African Senior Maintenance Technicians to work in Amersfoort, Netherlands. Visa and sponsorship assistance will be provided. The successful candidates will be decisive, service-oriented technicians for the 5-shift system at the ingredients and cheese factory in Bedum—someone who proactively addresses issues as they arise.

Responsibilities:

1. Engaged in preventive and corrective maintenance
2. Overhaul activities
3. Troubleshooting mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems
4. Locating, analyzing, and resolving faults in production installations to minimize downtime
5. Modifying and improving equipment in case of frequent malfunctions
6. Advising and assisting with structural improvement processes
7. Documenting all activities accurately in automated maintenance systems
8. Ensuring the technical status of machinery and peripheral equipment is complete and up-to-date
9. Being quality and service-driven with solid technical knowledge and open communication
10. Familiarity with SAP maintenance systems

Requirements:

1. Matric / N4
2. Millwright Trade Test or Electrical Trade Test
3. N1 – N6 qualifications are highly advantageous
4. South African Driver’s License
5. Fluent in Afrikaans (essential and mandatory)
6. Completed a 3-year apprenticeship
7. Experience in any industry
8. Knowledge of control systems
