Job summary

Xiquel Group is seeking a Magento Developer to design, develop and maintain secure, scalable e-commerce solutions. You will implement new features, improve platforms and ensure quality, performance and development standards are met.

The role focuses on building Magento themes, modules and integrations, with strong emphasis on front-end and back-end functionality, security, and site performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field preferred.
• Equivalent practical experience considered.
• Experience with performance optimisation and Magento certification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Magento-based e-commerce platforms.
• Build and customise Magento themes, modules and extensions.
• Develop and optimise front-end and back-end functionality.
• Integrate payment gateways, third-party services and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with project managers, analysts, testers and developers to deliver solutions.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve performance issues.
• Test solutions and support reliable deployment processes.
• Monitor and optimise site speed, security and scalability.
• Maintain clear technical documentation.
