Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Logistics Driver for intercity operations in Centurion. You will handle long-haul transportation across provinces, prioritizing punctuality, cargo security, and safety within a modern fleet.

The role requires a Code 14 with PDP, at least 5 years of long-haul experience, and the ability to work nights/weekends. A strong driving record and familiarity with road networks are essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Code 14 driver's license with PDP.
• Minimum 5 years as a long-haul truck driver.
• Experience transporting different cargo types.
• Clean driving record and good knowledge of road networks.
• Ability to work nights and weekends.
• Physical stamina for loading/unloading tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty vehicles for long-distance transportation of goods.
• Plan and manage routes to meet delivery deadlines.
• Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips.
• Ensure cargo is loaded, secured, and unloaded safely and correctly.
• Maintain accurate logbooks and submit delivery reports promptly.
• Adhere to national road safety regulations and company policies.
