Placements24 is seeking a professional Code 14 Driver for interprovincial transport, based out of Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will operate heavy‑duty trucks on long‑haul routes, ensuring safety, timely deliveries and secure cargo handling.

The role requires a minimum of 4 years’ long‑haul experience, a clean driving record, and a valid PrDP. You must confidently navigate across South Africa, conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, and maintain accurate driver logs.

• Code 14 license with PrDP required.
• Minimum 4 years of long-haul driving experience.
• Proven ability to navigate across South Africa and provinces.

Responsibilities

• Operate Code 14 trucks on long-distance routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Plan routes to meet delivery deadlines and comply with traffic laws.
• Load/unload cargo and ensure cargo integrity.
• Maintain accurate driver logs and hours.
• Communicate transport status with dispatch.
