Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
Develop, implement, and refine strategic plans for inventory management, warehousing, transportation, and distribution across various regions.
Lead and mentor a distributed team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance remote work culture.
Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and service enhancement, implementing data-driven solutions.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers, negotiating contracts and service level agreements.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies across all logistical activities.
Manage the logistics budget, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for financial optimization.
Utilize advanced logistics software and systems to monitor operations, forecast demand, and optimize routes.
Develop and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity during disruptions.
Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in logistics and supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
Demonstrated experience in managing remote teams and working effectively in a virtual environment.
In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics operations, international trade, and transportation management.
Proficiency in logistics management software (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems) and data analysis tools.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive operational excellence and cost savings.
Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management.
Understanding of global shipping regulations and customs procedures.
