Placements24 is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to join a remote team supporting Randburg, Gauteng operations. The role requires advanced data analytics, model building, and data-driven recommendations to optimize the supply chain and reduce costs.

You will develop dashboards, forecast demand and capacity, collaborate with operations, procurement, and sales, and mentor junior analysts while staying current with logistics trends and software tools.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, Logistics, or a quantitative field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics analysis or supply chain analytics.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python or R and BI tools such as Tableau/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key logistics metrics (KPIs).
• Model and forecast demand, capacity, and costs within the supply chain.

Our client, a leading international logistics provider, is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Logistics Analyst to join their remote team, providing critical support to operations in Randburg, Gauteng .
