Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level legal counsel and strategic guidance on corporate governance, commercial transactions, and risk management.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
• Admission to practice law in South Africa (or eligible for admission).
• A minimum of 10 years of experience practicing law, with a significant portion focused on corporate and commercial law within a reputable firm or in-house setting.
• Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
• Proven expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and M&A.
• Demonstrated ability to manage significant litigation and high-stakes disputes.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Superior written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
