Senior Learning Designer (Johannesburg)
Job description
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business objectives, increasing efficiencies and reducing costs.
- Lead and manage the operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of operational processes, procedures, and systems.
- Develop and report on key performance indicators and pipeline management for the team.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. FICA, FAIS, TCF, POPIA, Employee Equity, etc.).
- Manage budgets and financial reporting for operational areas.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Collaborate with other department heads to ensure alignment and effective communication across GrowthHouse.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors.
- Own and drive the financial advisor onboarding operational process end to end.
Requirements
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in operations management, preferably in administration and services to financial advisers.
- Proven track record of leadership and team management.
- Strong strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and financial management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; MBA or CFP preferred.
- Experience with operational process improvement and implementation of new systems and technology (e.g. Elite Wealth, atWork, Xplan, Jira, etc.).
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
