The Senior Learning and Development Partner is an advanced subject matter expert, responsible for leading the design, execution, and enhancement of learning programs to foster professional growth and skill development within the organization.

With a focus on aligning learning initiatives with business objectives, this role collaborates with business leads to identify training needs, and crafts engaging and effective training materials.

The Senior Learning and Development Partner is responsible for implementing cutting-edge learning methodologies, measuring program outcomes, and continuously improving training effectiveness.

What you'll be doing

Key Responsibilities :

1. Contributes to the development of a holistic learning and development strategy aligned with the organization's business goals and long-term vision.
2. Collaborates closely with executive leadership, department heads, and HR to understand business needs and align learning initiatives.
3. Conducts thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps, learning requirements, and performance improvement opportunities.
4. Consults on the design and development of training curricula, programs, and resources that cater to various levels and functions.
5. Develops and implements metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs, continuously improving learning outcomes.
6. Consults on innovative learning technologies and tools to enhance training delivery and engagement.
7. Consults on the use of data analytics to derive insights, measure the impact of training, and make informed decisions.
8. Manages the learning and development budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
9. Collaborates with cross-functional teams, communicates learning plans, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
10. Accountable for incorporating diversity, equity, and inclusion principles into learning strategies and programs.
11. Responsible for staying updated with industry trends, emerging learning technologies, and best practices to drive innovation.
12. Develops learning strategies that address the needs of a diverse, globally dispersed workforce.
13. Performs any other related task as required.

2. Advanced understanding of the organization's goals, objectives, and how learning and development initiatives align with overall business strategies.

4. Excellent ability to analyze training data to measure the effectiveness of programs and make data-driven decisions.
5. Advanced understanding of budgeting and resource allocation for learning and development initiatives.
6. Excellent ability to develop and execute a strategic learning and development plan that aligns with the organization's objectives.
7. Advanced interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with senior leadership / management and employees.
8. Advanced ability to design and deliver engaging and impactful training programs.
9. Ability to guide the organization through change by effectively communicating the value of learning initiatives.
10. Ability to negotiate resources, gain buy-in from stakeholders, and influence decision-making.

Academic Qualifications and Certifications :

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Human Resources / Learning and Development or a related field.

Required Experience :

1. Advanced demonstrated experience in designing and delivering training programs, workshops, and learning materials. Familiarity with various training methodologies and techniques to engage different learning styles.
2. Advanced demonstrated experience in conducting needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements within the organization.
3. Advanced demonstrated experience in collaborating with different departments and levels of management to understand training needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
4. Advanced demonstrated experience of using learning management systems (LMS), e-learning platforms, and other training technologies.
5. Advanced demonstrated experience in using data to evaluate training effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to improve training programs.
6. Advanced demonstrated experience in managing training projects, coordinating logistics, and meeting deadlines.
