About the Role

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Senior Lean Manufacturing Specialist to join their operational team in **Centurion, Gauteng**. This role is integral to driving operational excellence by implementing and optimizing lean manufacturing principles across all production processes. You will be responsible for identifying waste, improving workflows, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of lean methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to lead change effectively within a manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, on-site position located in **Centurion**.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of lean manufacturing initiatives (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, JIT).

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or operations management, with a strong focus on lean principles.
• Proven experience implementing lean tools and methodologies in a manufacturing setting.
• Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Strong facilitation, training, and communication skills.
• Ability to influence and motivate teams at all levels of the organization.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning is an advantage.
• This position is based in **Centurion, Gauteng, ZA**, and requires full-time on-site presence.
