Job description

We currently have an exciting position available for a Senior Labour Law Consultant to be based at our Richards Bay branch.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  1. Retaining all clients and servicing them on all labour law issues.
  2. Providing training to clients as per Labournet standards.
  3. Visiting all clients once per month.
  4. Contacting clients as per schedule.
Typical Labour Law issues:
  1. Chairing disciplinary inquiries.
  2. Drafting judgments for clients.
  3. Assisting with issuing warnings to ensure compliance.
  4. Drafting and implementing policies.
More complex issues include:
  • Strike Management.
Package & Remuneration:

Salary: R22 950 CTC per month

Qualifications:

You need a customer-first mindset and the following skills:

  • 3 years B. Degree or equivalent in HR / IR / LLB or related field.
  • 2+ years experience in labour law (consultations on retrenchments, strikes, chairing disciplinary hearings, dispute resolution, etc.).
  • Eagerness to learn labour law intricacies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to operate effectively under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver’s license and own vehicle are essential.
