Job description

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities : Proactively reach out to and prospect for new Csuite level contacts across the Pharma MedTech and Consumer Health industries in South Africa.
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans : Create and execute strategic sales & business development plans to achieve company goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners : Build and maintain longlasting relationships with clients understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities : Gather data from various sources such as industry reports market surveys competitor analysis and customer feedback to define & understand the current market landscape.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored consulting solutions : Conduct thorough assessments of client needs and challenges by engaging with internal subject matter experts. This helps in understanding the specific requirements and pain points of each client.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential clients : Craft and present persuasive valueproposition presentations and proposals to both potential and existing clients highlighting the unique benefits and solutions tailored to their specific needs.
  • Market Analysis : Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
  • Negotiation and Closing : Negotiate contracts contribute to setting of proposals and close deals to maximize profits while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Csuite Engagement : Effectively engage and converse with Csuite executives (e.g. CEOs CFOs CTOs) to understand their strategic goals and align sales strategies accordingly.
  • Financial Acumen : Demonstrate strong financial acumen including understanding financial statements budgeting and financial forecasting to provide valuedriven solutions.
  • Team Collaboration : Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
  • Continuous Learning : Stay updated with industry trends sales techniques and best practices.

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Preferred qualifications are bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field an MBA will be advantageous.

Experience

  • Demonstrated experience and a successful track record as a senior professional sales representative with management experience in South Africas private Pharma MedTech or Consumer Health industries.
