Senior Java Software Engineer

My client is looking for a Senior Java Software Engineer based in Rivonia Johannesburg, with a fully in office work model.

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer
2. Intrinsic passion for learning and self-development
3. Experience using automated testing frameworks
4. Knowledge of Java, Jakarta EE platform, and Spring Framework
5. In-depth knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MsSQL)
6. Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Mac OS, Windows)
7. Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
8. Ability to work independently without supervision
9. Excellent organizational and leadership skills
10. Experience solving problems of varying complexity
11. Understanding of the full project scope with ability to delegate tasks effectively
12. Ability to experiment, test, validate assumptions, and connect dots to reach conclusions
13. Strong project development perspective, suggesting optimal methods with market goals in mind
