Purpose of the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Engineer / Solutions Architect to design and develop robust, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. This role requires deep expertise in Java-based technologies, system architecture, and cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and maintain architecture standards aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities & Key Activities:

• Design and develop new applications and services
• Maintain existing applications and services
• Participate in DevOps cycles to support business needs
• Implement testing automation using PayU's automation framework
• Collaborate with international teams on strategic initiatives
• Enhance platform reliability and stability through project involvement
• Improve developer experience to enable robust code creation
• Apply problem-solving skills to resolve technical issues swiftly
• Enforce coding standards and security best practices

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years in Java development, with at least 3 years in solutions architecture
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Spring Core; experience with Node.js is a plus
• Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS
• Knowledge of DynamoDB and MySQL
• Experience with CI/CD, GitLab, deployment automation
• Familiarity with Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, cybersecurity
• Proven ability to design scalable solutions aligned with business needs
