Accso is seeking an experienced software consultant to join our AI-enabled software development team. You will design, develop, and implement software solutions for German customers using Java, Spring, and AI methods, while leading project teams and mentoring colleagues.

You’ll contribute across the full software lifecycle in agile environments, shaping architecture, automation, and quality with a focus on reliable delivery and measurable impact. Office in Germany, flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science or a comparable discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of profound professional software development experience.
• Experience with agile methods such as Scrum or Design Thinking.
• Ability to work self-driven and actively contribute to the team’s success.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions for large German clients.
• Provide technical leadership of a project team and mentor colleagues.
• Contribute to every phase of the software engineering lifecycle in an agile setup.
• Review and validate AI-generated code with a critical eye and quality indicators.

• You work in consulting and software development projects for well-known large German customers such as AXA, BMW, Deutsche Bahn and ZDF.
• You design, develop, and implement software solutions by applying AI methods and tools throughout the software development process (e.g., LLMs, agent-based frameworks, code generation, and test automation).
• You build enterprise Java applications using agentic methods
• You develop environments for projects: rule files, context documentation, MCP server configurations, and scaffolding that optimises AI collaboration
• You review and validate AI-generated code with a critical eye—understanding failure modes, common hallucinations, and quality indicators
• You take on the technical leadership of a project team and share your knowledge through mentoring, training, and knowledge sharing when needed.
• You contribute to every phase of the software engineering lifecycle using agile methodologies.

Your profile

• You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science or a comparable discipline.
• You have at least 8 years of profound experience in professional software development.
• You enjoy working with agile methods such as Scrum or Design Thinking.
