Job Title: Senior IT Server Administrator - Centurion

Purpose of Position: To ensure the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the in-house information systems that support core organizational functions.
This is achieved by monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing all networked software and associated operating systems. This role will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve issues to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments.
Requirements:
- A three-year Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or an Advanced Technology-related degree.
- Industry-recognized certifications in Infrastructure Management, IT Security, and IT Service Management.
Required Experience:
- 10 - 12 years of related experience in Information Technology.
- Strong communication skills in both technical and user-friendly language.
- Research skills for systems issues and products.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Prioritization and execution skills in high-pressure environments.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with software and hardware.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Experience documenting and maintaining configuration and process information.
- Data management experience.
- Good project management skills.
- Technical experience with Containers, Active Directory, DFS, Terminal Servers, IIS, operations management software, and file server migrations.
- Knowledge of network, server, and PC operating systems including Windows, MacOS, and Linux.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and practices.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in designing and implementing software systems and applications.
- Understanding of systems planning, security principles, and software management best practices.

- Knowledge of LAN administration and current software protocols and standards, including Cloud, virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), scripting (PowerShell, Ansible), Citrix XenDesktop, and VDI solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze system, server, application, network, and device performance.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and software issues; escalate as needed.
- Collaborate with network staff to ensure reliable operation of systems.
- Research emerging products and standards.
- Test and review new and modified systems.
- Coordinate with various teams for system deployment and integration.
- Maintain documentation related to system configurations and processes.
- Generate reports for business needs.
- Deploy and manage workstations, servers, and security systems.
- Design and perform security audits, backups, and recovery procedures.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and training.
- Ensure system compatibility, connectivity, and security.
- Evaluate and recommend new system software.
