Job description

We are looking for an IT Technical Recruiter to join our growing recruitment team.

Technical Recruiter responsibilities include:

  1. Sourcing, screening and providing qualified candidates for various technical roles.
  2. Networking online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce our time-to-place and ensure we attract the best professionals.
  3. Building a strong tech talent pipeline and helping hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions.

Requirements:

  1. Proven work experience as an IT Technical Recruiter
  2. Hands-on experience with various interview formats
  3. Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
  4. Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  5. Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  7. Solid understanding of HR practices and labour legislation
  8. Human Resources, IT or other relevant degree
  9. At least 5 years of experience in a similar role

Responsibilities:

  1. Write and post technical job descriptions
  2. Source potential candidates on niche platforms, like GitHub
  3. Have specialised skills and qualifications to screen IT resumes
  4. Draft and send personalised recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates
  5. Perform pre-screening calls to analyse applicants' abilities
  6. Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g., structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioural questions)
  7. Analyse the information and responses obtained through the interview
  8. Verify applicant information, skills, and qualifications
  9. Present applicant profile to the business development manager and make the recommendation of the candidate as a match to the job specification, emphasising qualification, skills, reasons for wanting a career change and salary details with benefits and perks
  10. Arrange and manage interviews by coordinating diary schedules
  11. Manage and organise feedback on interviews
  12. Negotiate job offers between applicant and client
  13. Close the recruitment process
  14. Promote company's reputation as a great place to work
  15. Keep up-to-date with new technological trends and products
