Purpose of Position :

The role of the IT Project Manager is to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. The IT Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its lifecycle.

Requirements :

• Industry recognized certification in Project Management (Required)
• University Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or Business Administration (Post Graduate Degree preferred) (Required)

Required Experience :

• 8 – 12 years' direct work experience in project management, including process development and execution
• Ability to coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Agile practices and mindsets
• Experience as a Scrum Master, facilitating meetings and leading sprints
• Experience with project management software
• Knowledge of data communications, information systems hardware and software
• Thorough knowledge of Agile methodology and ITIL Framework
• Understanding of Project Management principles and system development lifecycle

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and develop business relationships vital to project success
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors
• Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendations
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables
• Determine and assess staffing needs
• Develop and deliver progress reports and presentations
• Develop project plans and manage project development
• Draft budgets and recommend changes
• Communicate expectations clearly to team and stakeholders
• Manage project dependencies, critical paths, and risks
• Liaise with stakeholders and manage multiple complex projects
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones
• Manage scope changes, crises, and contingency plans
• Negotiate for personnel as needed
