Job Title: Senior IT Auditor - East London

Job Location: Eastern Cape, East London | Deadline: June 06, 2025

Product Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct audits across all three phases: Planning, Execution, and Audit Conclusion.
  2. Plan audits by defining objectives, scope, assessing risks, and compiling audit plans.
  3. Conduct walkthroughs with relevant stakeholders and perform fieldwork following policies and procedures.
  4. Execute tests to verify compliance, goal achievement, information reliability, operational efficiency, and asset safeguarding.
  5. Document findings, review with line managers, and communicate progress and obstacles.
  6. Participate in meetings to discuss recommendations, implementation timelines, and internal actions.
  7. Ensure audits are conducted according to internal standards within allocated timeframes.
  8. Promote sound internal controls within the Business Unit.
HR and Personal Development:
  1. Continuously improve competencies through Personal Development Plans, training, and CPD activities.
  2. Stay updated with developments at AGSA and participate in transformational initiatives.
  3. Support high-quality, cost-effective audits and manage projects efficiently.
Planning and Budgeting:
  1. Contribute to audit planning, including budgeting and organizational reporting.
  2. Adhere to budget allocations and obtain approval for unbudgeted expenses.
  3. Achieve recoverability targets and manage additional projects as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Formal Education: B Degree in Auditing, Computer Science, or Informatics.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Auditing and Informatics.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in Information Systems auditing; experience with ERP environments (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, PeopleSoft), cybersecurity, and CAATs/Data analytics is advantageous.
