This role is Johannesburg-based, with consideration for candidates willing to relocate.

What We're Looking For:

1. Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in investment management.
2. Skills:

• Financial institutions analysis
• Mezzanine or structured credit investing
• Impact investing
• Excellent analytical abilities
• Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
• Team player mentality
• Appetite for learning new skills

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage investment pipelines
2. Originate and negotiate investments
3. Draft investment term sheets
4. Conduct due diligence, including financial analysis and management meetings
5. Prepare screening and investment memos
6. Apply investment guidelines, committee decisions, and E&S policies
7. Negotiate final investment agreements with legal counsel
8. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
9. Oversee the investment and operational team
10. Support fundraising efforts
11. Contribute to the growth of the fund business, including new strategies
