Job Responsibilities:
- Managing and investigating crime incidents
- Handling informers and gathering intelligence
- Managing informer rewards
- Ensuring court procedures are fulfilled
- Liaising with HR regarding disciplinary enquiries
- Coordinating with clients, SAPS, and court officials
- Handling of Au Exhibit safe
- Inspecting dockets according to the brought forward system
- Training co-workers in crime investigation and informer handling
Qualifications, Attributes, and Skills:
- Valid driver’s license
- Computer literacy in MS Excel and Word
- Minimum of 3 years experience in investigating criminal and departmental incidents
- Experience with SAPS, Defence Force, and NIA is an advantage
- Own reliable and economical transportation
- Excellent presentation, written, verbal communication, and report-writing skills
- PSIRA grading
- Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism in liaising with clients
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Ability to work independently
- Patience and willingness to go the extra mile
- Security knowledge is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Management and supervisory skills for in-house training
