Job Title: Senior / Intermediate Travel Designer - Owned Brands Staff Travel

Job Location: Gauteng, Johannesburg | Deadline: May 05, 2025

Responsibilities

1. Liaise with Owned Brands’ managers and executives regarding staff and executive travel needs.
2. Communicate with suppliers, internal sales, product, and operations teams to build trust and maintain excellent relationships.
3. Ensure all booking information is accurately updated in the system, keeping CRM current.
4. Stay informed about Wilderness and associated product updates, as well as technology advancements.
5. Attend weekly Wilderness and associated product training to enhance booking accuracy and exceed expectations.
6. Provide quotes for staff travel bookings across all Owned Brands.
7. Request and negotiate rates with suppliers.
8. Maintain comprehensive supplier knowledge to foster mutually beneficial relationships with product partners.
9. Keep updated with company policies, procedures, and system updates.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• Matric certificate with Mathematics (minimum standard grade or above).
• Tertiary qualification in Travel & Tourism or Hospitality.

Experience

• 4-5 years of experience at a senior level.
• Experience in customer relationship management and promoting products/services in the inbound travel industry.
• Working knowledge of TourPlan and WISH or similar booking systems.
• General product knowledge of Southern and East Africa.
• Personal or educational travel experience is advantageous.
