Senior Interior Designer - Gauteng

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate seamlessly with clients, designers, architects, contractors, fabricators, artisans, and developers on multiple projects.
2. Liaise directly with clients and third parties, including on-site visits and management.
3. Handle material sourcing and specification, custom furniture design, visual research, and furniture sourcing.
4. Maintain project budgets and timelines.
5. Prepare and develop presentations, drawings, models, mood boards, and other concept materials.
6. Create project documentation, including submission of full drawing sets, specifications, schedules, and overseeing construction administration and consultant coordination.
7. Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends.

Requirements:

1. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in interior design.
2. Relevant degree from an accredited institution.
3. Experience with renovation, refurbishment, and restoration projects.
4. Experience in interior architectural design and extensive decorating experience is advantageous.
5. Exceptional presentation skills.
6. Passion for design with a keen eye for detail.
7. Knowledge of the full design process, including concept, schematic, design development, construction documentation, construction administration, procurement, and installation.
8. High proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Revit, SketchUp, 20/20, and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to adapt to the company's daily needs.
