Senior-Level Interior Designer :

Qualifications :

1. Minimum of 7 years proven work experience (Contactable references).
2. Must be able to work both independently and with a team.
3. Candidate should be creative and have an eye for design and detail.
4. Must be able to work under pressure with quick turnover times.

Responsibilities :

1. Conceptualization and Design Development :

• Good understanding of all phases of a project from concept to completion.
• Develop and compile design presentations with relevant software.
• Produce technical drawings, joinery, and details.
• Excellent understanding of construction and joinery details.
• Familiar with local building codes and regulations.
• Good problem-solving skills in coming up with design solutions.
• Procurement experience with a good understanding of FF&E and materials is a plus.
• Keep up with local trends, available materials, and construction methods.

• Attend design meetings and actively keep track and participate in site discussions.
• Be willing and able to lead design meetings with contractors where needed.
• Good understanding of project timelines and budgets, ensuring all design decisions are aligned to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.
• Liaise with external design teams and other associated organizations or companies.
• Need to be available to travel and work weekends and overtime when required.

• Support client correspondence by actively listening to their needs, preferences, and feedback, and incorporating it into the design.
• Present design proposals and recommendations addressing client concerns and incorporating feedback to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Attend meetings with clients and actively take notes to support the team lead.

• Provide guidance to junior designers to ensure a collaborative team environment.

Desirable :

1. Experience in restaurant, hospitality, or residential design is advantageous.
2. Roll-out experience is a plus.

Technical skills :

• Proficient in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Photoshop.
• Experience with rendering programs like Enscape or similar.
• Proficient in PowerPoint for presentations.
• Excel skills for budget management.
