Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Integration Consultant to design and deliver secure, scalable integration solutions for our clients.

You’ll work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders and client leadership to understand complex requirements and translate them into practical integration designs. The role combines solution design, hands-on technical delivery and consulting, so you’ll need to be comfortable moving between architecture discussions, stakeholder workshops, documentation and detailed troubleshooting.

Your first project will focus on connecting enterprise systems using modern integration patterns and Microsoft Azure technologies. You’ll play a key role in shaping the integration approach while ensuring solutions are reliable, maintainable and aligned with the client’s wider technology landscape. We’re looking for someone with strong integration fundamentals and sound technical judgement. You do not need to have worked with every technology listed below.

Location: This is a hybrid role based in Cape Town, with a minimum of three days per week in our Woodstock office. Candidates looking to relocate to Cape Town are welcome to apply, although any relocation costs would need to be covered personally.

What You Bring

• We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical skills with a collaborative mindset and curiosity about AI and emerging data technologies.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise integration solutions.
• Good understanding of REST APIs and API-led integration.
• Experience with event-driven architecture, message queues and asynchronous processing.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Integration Services.
• Experience working with Azure API Management.
• Strong knowledge of JSON and XML, including data mapping and transformation.
• Good understanding of API security, authentication and OAuth.
• Experience gathering requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
• Confidence facilitating stakeholder workshops and communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong technical documentation and solution-design skills.
• A structured approach to troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Experience delivering solutions within consulting, client-facing or complex enterprise environments.

Education & Experience

• Ideal would be a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Applied Mathematics.
• 3–6 years’ experience in data engineering or a related field.
