Job summary

Centurion Growth Recruitment Services in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa, seeks a Tier 3 Infrastructure Engineer to provide advanced IT infrastructure support across on-premise and cloud environments, focusing on security, virtualization, and high availability.

The role reports to the Operations Manager and requires 10+ years in network and security, with Fortinet, VMware, Windows Server, AD/DNS/DHCP, Linux, backups, and Cloud experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in Network & Security across on-premise and cloud environments.
• 5+ years in core areas: firewalls, switches, wireless, Fortigate & Cisco, VPN clients.
• Windows Server 2012+ administration and AD/DNS/DHCP.
• Linux administration experience required.
• Backup and recovery operations experience.
• Prior System Administrator experience preferred.
• Proven ability to administer and configure virtual environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2-L3 administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance across Fortinet Firewalls and cloud security.
• Manage routing, switching and wireless networking.
• Maintain VMware vCenter and Hyper-V hypervisors.
• Administer server hardware, storage and AD/DNS/DHCP.
• Oversee Azure, AWS and Google Cloud computing.
• Monitor networks, systems and security events; support SIEM.
