You Bring

• A minimum of 4 years IT Infrastructure experience.
• Relevant industry certifications (advantageous).
• Server implementation experience.
• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with Microsoft applications including Office 365 and Azure.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience collaborating with development teams.
• Windows and Linux Server System Administration skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.

• Proven ability to produce high-quality system documentation.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and optimise Windows and Linux servers for efficiency, security, and uptime.
• Maintain Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Install, configure, and integrate software and infrastructure products securely and stably.
• Support software upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and ensure security compliance.
• Manage VMware platforms, including server deployment.
• Monitor infrastructure components, conduct health checks, verify backups, and diagnose systems.
• Perform firmware upgrades and manage disaster recovery plans.
• Automate tasks using scripting and tools like PowerShell, Python, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Deploy and manage cloud-based virtual machines (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Implement monitoring solutions, analyze trends, and optimize performance.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, guiding best practices and troubleshooting.
• Lead incident management during outages, ensuring minimal disruption.
• Stay updated on industry trends and recommend technological improvements.
• Provide on-call support for critical issues and after-hours emergencies.
• Communicate system health, risks, and strategic plans to senior management.
