Datonomy Solutions (Pty) Ltd seeks an experienced Information Security Analyst in a financial services environment. The role requires hands-on expertise, independence, stakeholder advisory ability and mentoring for other analysts and administrators.

You will resolve complex security issues, implement security technologies, monitor compliance and contribute to developing security standards and processes across the organisation.

Formación

• An advanced diploma or relevant bachelor’s degree.
• CISSP, CISM or a relevant equivalent security qualification/certification is essential.
• 10–15 years’ experience in an IT environment.
• At least two years’ experience in a senior role within a relevant technical discipline.
• At least 3–5 years’ experience specialising in an information security technology.
• Demonstrated experience implementing, supporting and troubleshooting security technologies.
• Experience managing technical changes, resolving incidents and maintaining operational stability.

Responsabilidades

• Investigate and resolve complex technical information security issues, working with stakeholders to develop effective solutions.
• Implement, support and optimise security technologies, ensuring stability and availability.
• Analyse system logs and reports to identify deviations and implement corrective actions.
• Plan, assess and implement security changes across risk levels, verifying success.
• Create, maintain and review information security standards, processes and procedures.
• Monitor security environments for alignment with policies and best practices.
• Evaluate new security products, define criteria, and participate in proofs of concept.
• Support the implementation and handover of new security technologies.
• Review project documentation and provide security input throughout the SDLC.
• Identify opportunities to improve security processes, reduce risk and cut costs.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on security products and incidents.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to security administrators and analysts.
• Stay informed about emerging threats and developments in security tech.
• Provide support outside normal hours to resolve critical issues and maintain service availability.
